Each culture have wedding traditions and practices including standard wedding norms and rites that have been passed down through generations. Marriage or wedding ceremonies among the Igbos of eastern Nigeria is not much different today to what it used to be 100 years ago. A wedding is called “Igba Nkwu” in traditional Igbo language, and it is an affair that joins two families and villages together, not only the man and the woman.
For Nina and David, it was no doubt a union of their families as well as their friends. They had a two-in-one wedding; their traditional wedding and their church wedding.
Dressed in a strapless straight george multi-patterned red dress with beaded cap, Nina was a beautiful tradition Queen as she observed her traditional marriage rites with David who went for an all white look with embroidered blue cap and shoes.
For their church wedding, Nina was glammed up by Monette Beauties with a stunning bridal makeup and hair by Hair by Henri. She went for an off shoulder long sleeves ball room wedding gown. She finished up the look with a tiara and a long beautiful bouquet. David was all suited up in a blue suit by Cjallahandro.
