First let me state here that if you are not a millennial then this post is definitely not for you… Why? Well except you are confident enough to rock exaggerated cuts, open back and the likes then you could stay but if not here’s a link that would best suit your needs- Ankara
Now, back to my Millennial sisters- The fun part about being a millennial is the low-down way in which we’ve recreated every piece of fashion that was ever known to man. I definitely love this generation for its open, other-worldly way of turning old fashion into something refreshing. Take for example the nineties trends; off-the shoulder, cold-shoulder, baggy jeans, bomber jacket etc all of which have found it’s way to this century.
The 90’s fashion isn’t the only thing that was brought to this new generation, along with 90’s fashion there are additional trends from as far back as the 20’s like the turban trend. With this fact in hand am sure you would not find it strange that the African print fabric aka Ankara has taken a new turn as well.
Knowing that the weekend has begun and the simple fact that we live by the anthem “YOLO” in this generation, I’ve selected some interesting and fascinating weekend Ankara styles to reflect this Anthem.
