VINEGAR WONDER: HAIR DYE REMOVAL JUST GOT EASIER

Hi Damsels!

Honestly, I love ladies who aren’t scared of trying something new because I’m one of them. When it comes to the issue of hair for instance, sticking to a particular style has never been my way; I love them different.

As a lover of new things, you could decide to put up a new look by applying the hair dye on your hair, probably one of those very bright colours. Since everyday isn’t the same, you could fall prey of not applying your hair dye properly.

Yeah! Your dye job did not quite turn out the way you wanted it to. Luckily, there are several ways you can try to remove dye from your hair. One of the most effective techniques is the use of vinegar. The good thing is that this is easily found in your kitchen so it’s very handy. Plain white vinegar is useful here. Apple cider vinegar is less acidic, so it won’t be as effective.

Hello World

You’ll achieve your goal by going through these processes;

1. Create a mixture of equal parts vinegar and warm water:

Well, most dyes are meant to handle alkaline substances, like soaps and shampoos, but not acidic substances. The acidity of white vinegar will help to remove the dye.

2. Saturate your hair with the mixture:

Douse your hair with the vinegar and water solution over a sink or tub. Get your hair good and saturated. This will help so well.

3. Cover your hair and wait fifteen to twenty minutes:

You should use a shower cap or plastic bag to wrap up your wet hair. Allow your hair to soak in the vinegar mixture for fifteen to twenty minutes.

4. Shampoo your hair and rinse it thoroughly:

As you rinse, you’ll see colour running out with the water. Once the water runs clear, do well to shampoo it again. You can repeat this entire process several times if you need to.

 Removing hair dye actually just got easier with vinegar!
