Stripe’s are common, they’ve never gone out of trend since the 70’s and with the current way in which they are worn they would not be going out of trend anytime soon. The most famous stripe color is the monochrome stripe (black and white), everybody has more than one piece in their closet but how do you revamp your monochrome stripe? Scroll down to see the various way’s you can wear your monochrome stripe;
1. The Sweater
Your monochrome doesn’t have to be black and white, you can rock a black and very light brown stripe just like the sweater below. A sweater is a cool way to rock the monochrome stripe look, pair with black leather pants and thigh high boots.
2. The Coat
A monochrome stripe piece of clothing looks best when paired with a color on the pattern, pair a petite coat with a black tank top, black leggings, black statement necklace and bracelet and finish off with black suede pumps.
3. The Mid-riff Top
Try something a little different, pair a monochrome stripe midriff top with a floral pencil skirt, multiple colored bead and chain necklace and finish off with a black saddle handbag and nude patent stiletto.
4. The Nautical Sweater
I love Monochrome stripe especially the nautical version, pair a fabulous nautical stripe sweater over a white shirt, finish off with a black jeans, black handbag and patent nude stiletto.
5. The Utra-Layered Outfit
We talked about the lazy girls guide to Ultra-layered outfits a few weeks ago, this monochrome stripe look fits the bill perfectly. A shirt blouse paired with faux patent leather skirt, black pop socks and gorgeous suede stiletto’s.
6. The Tuxedo
Separates are cool especially when they have an androgynous feel. Rock a monochrome blazer with matching tuxedo pants. Finish off with a black stiletto and cool jewelries for a feminine touch.
Monochrome stripe outfits are fabulous and amazing, follow this cool-girls guide to up your game.[mashshare text="This is my custom share text"]
