Recently, I was thinking about how my marriage ceremony will actually be like. I thought of an all white small traditional wedding with my family where I’d be on white aso oke and accessories with my prince charming on white aso-oke agbada too (that isn’t bad I guess). For my white wedding, I thought of a buffet setting with a black and white wedding theme, which will probably require a strictly by invitation invite. But with my kind of African parents, I can’t tell that it is not possible. They will probably want to invite one aunty or uncle that happened to be our neighbors when I was still in the womb and like that isn’t enough, they will want to choose aso-ebi, remembering all the aso-ebi that they’ve bought for other people’s weddings. But that aside, I know my wedding will be spectacular and you never can tell, I might just get my dream wedding with an invite for you.
Aisha and Simi gave their love wedding a new definition as it was a simple but romantic and gorgeous. Their simple wedding saw a turn out of family and friends storm Ibadan for a great time. For their traditional wedding, the Mr and Mrs Osi-efa to-be were in a carton brown ensemble with bride on iro and buba with aso-oke while the groom on agbada. Their white wedding was the focus of their wedding photos as the bride was in a sleeveless ball gown by David’s Bridal with make up done by Kellas Make Over. The groom went for the black suit look. Aisha’s beautiful reception outfit was a long sheer lace dress with a front slit was by Bunnie Bees Fabrics. Kelvin Awesome Photography (KAP) captured all the beautiful moments from Aisha and Simi’s Simple romantic and gorgeous love wedding.
