Hello World

Materials needed are;

  • Ankara fabric;
  • A watch face
  • A pair of scissors
  • Needle or sewing machine
  • Thread
  • An iron
  • A measuring tape
  • Tailoring chalk (optional)

You begin by measuring your wrist and then multiply whatever value you get by three (3).

Step 1

Go ahead to measure your piece of cloth, cutting it according to the measurements you got. The length should be the value you got previously and the width, four (4) inches thick.

Step 2

Step 2

Then fold the Ankara fabric into two, making sure that you fold it with the ‘out-side’ of the Ankara fabric being inside the fold and sew. Then iron it flat. After this, take the iron on thick adhesive, measure it to the length of your Ankara fabric, place it in between the open longer edge of your Ankara fabric and then iron it down.

Step 3

The last step involves inserting the Ankara fabric into your watch face. Fold the tip of the strap in a triangular manner, insert it into the watch face hole and pull.

Step 4

Hooray!  This becomes your finished Ankara strap wristwatch.

Step 5

I need not  describe how best you should rock your Ankara strap wristwatch. It’s yours so, do with it whatever you will!
