Weddings are important social events, associated usually with a big social reunion. Weddings have been organised not only in higher social classes – poor and rich people got married as well. Everyone wants something special, something to make this great change in their lives.
The music played during the different parts of the wedding ceremony have always been of great importance in assuring a nice, joyful and elegant background for the wedding. Flowers and music play a major part in the background decoration. So looking at a fresh, beautiful floral scheme, listening to touching, soft music during the wedding ceremony helps us to appreciate these unique moments of happiness and joy, to feel the solemnity of the wedding which was the reason why Ronke and Yanju’s traditional wedding had one of the best moments.
Planned by Mojisola Alubankudi, Ronke and Yanju were both dressed in the typical Yoruba traditional wedding attires; Ronke on embellished iro and buba aso oke while Yanju on sokoto, buba and agbada by De Royal Fabrics.
Ronke and Yanju later switched their looks for a more relaxed one; Ronke went for a shimmering mermaid gown which was all Ronke’s creation, while Yanju was on a simple white sokoto and buba.
Ronke was glammed up by Kellas Makeover with jewelries and shoes from Twinkling Stars Jewelry and Yenettil Luxury respectively. Photography and videography was done by Lypix Studios and OSJ World Media.
