Hey Divas,

Just how important are wedding ceremonies? Wedding ceremonies serve several purposes and they are often a cherished moment in a couple’s history. A wedding ceremony is often utilized as a public display of marriage vows and of the couple entering into the marital contract. For many couples, the focus of the wedding ceremony, is on their commitment and love for each other.

The most important part of a wedding ceremony, is the vows between the bride and groom. The vows help couples to proclaim their commitment to the relationship which was the case for Halima and Abdulaziz Danladi who had a lavish Hausa wedding. In addition to stating and agreeing to their wedding vows, they have the love and support of their family and friends who graced the event with smiles and laughter.

Light skinned Halima was the sparkle of the day when she said her wedding vows in three outfits; one for the traditional wedding and the two for the Nikkah and reception. Opting for an all red ensemble, Halima was dressed in red lace with embellished red aso oke designed by Hudayya couture. However, her Nikkah look was a reserved and simple pink embellished mermaid cape dress with a multi-pleated silver gele. A white embellished dress was the stunning outfit for her reception. Her make up was simple and elegantly done by Mamza Beauty.

It was a lovely event as Halima and Abdulaziz officially became Mr and Mrs Abdulaziz Danladi.
