SEE THE ALL BLUE WEDDING OF ADEDOLAPO AND YINKA

Hey Divas,

Blue is the favorite color of most people. It’s nature’s color for water and sky. Blue is embraced as the color of heaven and authority. It is cold, wet, and slow as compared to red’s warmth, fire, and intensity.

Blue is ranked so high as a favorite color that you can’t go wrong if you use blue. However, blue is the only color which maintains its own character in all its tones… it will always stay blue. It also represents meanings of depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith, heaven, and intelligence.

The blue color communicates significance and importance without creating somber feelings which was why Adedolapo and Yinka decided to make blue their colour for their traditional wedding. It was an all blue wedding as they were both dressed in shades of blue.

Since Adedolapo and Yinka were both of Yoruba origin, they were both dressed in the Yoruba traditional attires. Adedolapo was dressed in two yoruba attires; a steel blue lace iro and buba with royal blue aso oke and an embellished iro and blouse with sky blue gele. Adeolapo wore a simple make up done by Blm Studios.

Yinka also was dressed in two attires; steel blue buba and sokota with royal blue agbada which he later switched for a sky blue dansiki. Their aso oke were creations from Aso Ara and jewelry from Gbenga Art Smith.
