I have often wondered how our weeks would have been without Saturdays. This is because Saturday is the only day of the week that doesn’t have a norm attached to it. Although, the weekend consist of two other days (Friday and Sunday), these two days have specific norms meant for them.
Friday is a work day (even though in some cases, it can be an half day of work). Friday is also of utmost importance to my muslim brothers and sisters as it is a day of prayer and worship for them.
While Sunday might seem as a rest day for some, it is an important day of worship, most especially for the Christians, which leaves Saturday as the only free day of the week. Saturdays are well utilized as fun times after a long week, as wedding events always comes up.
Bukky and Olu utilized a Saturday in this month of August when they called on family and friends to come see and celebrate with them as they said their wedding vows. It was a time of jubilation and merry for the couple, their family and friends as there was Rice Soup Very Plenty (RSVP) lol.
Dressed in Yemi Shoyemi creations, Bukky was adorn in a timeless off shoulder ball room wedding dress while Olu was also dressed in a white and black suit. Bukky was glammed up by Beauty by Philippa and hair styled by Hair by Estylez. Her maids were dressed in stunning floor length blue gowns by Joyce F designs.
Buky and Olu’s Toronto wedding was planned by Obaapa Creations and photography was by Arambada photography.
