The Ramadan season signifies the end of a fast, a cleansing of the spirit and thus what follows the fast is a celebration and thanksgiving.

As funny as this quote from mark sounds, there is truth in every word that forms the sentence. When you eat something you like and love, there’s this happiness… there’s zest to fulfil (you might not be sure what it is at that moment but you just feel empowered).

Food makes us happy, good food makes us feel excited and alive and so this weekend, attempt to re-create this delicious dish in the comfort of your kitchen.

Everyone loves grilled chicken but bringing out the grill, setting up the coal and lighting it up sounds like a “long thing”. The easiest way out is to grill using your oven and that’s what we are about to show you now.

At the end of the day, the chicken taste just as delicious… Here’s what you’ll need

  • 5 Chicken quarters
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Cameroon Pepper
  • 4 tablespoons Suya Spice
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon crushed Ginger
  • 2 Seasoning cubes
  • 1 tablespoon Thyme
  • 1 tablespoon Curry
  • 3 Green Chillis
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
