Hey Divas,

Welcome back to Woman Crush Wednesday, our weekly roundup of bad-ass ladies making the news. One goal of this series is to show that while women have more opportunities today than ever before, we don’t have to be perfect while we try to change the world. It’s easy to get bogged down while struggling to fulfill all the expectations associated with our sex.

We’re expected to kill it on the career front, but also keep everything running smoothly at home — and definitely can’t forget to be hot yet approachable; assertive, but never bitchy; and smart without being too intimidating. In that light today, we’ve got a new woman crush and it is color lover, fashion blogger and image consultant Alero Buttercup. She has successfully given a new definition of colour blocking.

Alero is a mother, wife, career woman and fashion blogger who runs the blog, Alero Buttercup blog. She is among the best Nigerian bloggers who has mastered the art of color blocking very well. The interesting thing about Alero is that she picks out all her colours wisely and they all complement themselves astoundingly. She sure knows how to mix and match vibrant hues to create outfits that are both fresh and fashion forward.

With determination and understanding, Alero is always pushing the limits and challenging herself to reach new achievements. We celebrate women following their passion by doing what they love effortlessly. For that reason, Alero Buttercup is our Woman Crush Wednesday.

From long flowing gowns, to ripped knee length jeans to the casual boyfriend tees, here are some of her different style looks for several occasions…
