The Grammy Awards is the fun part of the award season. The award show always deliver, noteworthy moments because as most of us know musicians have no “caution”, they are artsy, eccentric and they are never afraid to show their true forms. Musicians are like chameleons, they are can exude a formal vibe – think old HollyWood glam- this of cause all depends on what award show they are attending because when it’s a music based award show then it’s more about taking risk and self-expression than anything else.

The Grammy awards 2018 red carpet once more showed that “risk taking” would most likely always be the theme when the award is music based. The show began and some of our favourite musicians looked like ‘schmoney’.

The black girls would always be our main interest and true to the magic that we carry, our black queens had some of the best beauty looks. Lets take a look…

The Queen BEY brought the house down with her ode to “the black panther party”. She wen’t with her blonde cornrow and a matte purple lippy.

Hello World

Ashanti did not come to play, the singer went with a subtle glam look rocking an asymmetric bob cut.

Bacardi’ Cardi was on the red carpet and she gave us a royal vibe with her tousled updo and simple earth toned makeup.

Always the rebel, rapper EVE took to the red carpet in a side swept tendrils; this look was definitely what her outfit needed.

Janelle Monae is a risk taker and style queen, edging towards a black with blonde ends short hair which she embellished with jewelries Janelle’s green liner brings the entire look in fabulously.
