Hey Lovelies

Gosh! There’s no break for party in this country especially in Lagos, there is always something somewhere, either someone is getting married or someone is celebrating the life of their great grandfather, or naming ceremonies for new-born’s or thanksgiving services etc.

All of the above events are traditional wear inspired and these events is what has made our fashion industry become renowned. Fashion designers certainly have their work cut out for them because “e no easy” but “na the work wey dem dey do”.

Nigerian ladies are not easy people, they are one of the most fashion conscious women in the world and they believe that every piece of clothing they own (as far as it was tailored) should be custom made; why should wura wear the same cloth as uche after she made sure it was sewed by a fashion designer.

This “uniqueness” mentality is why we have so many aso ebi styles every weekend. The fashion designers complain since they do all the thinking but we the onlookers do not because there is an exciting feeling that comes with the knowledge that you are the only one in the whole wide world with that particular detail no matter how little.

Since we want to make sure that the world see’s that we too can slay, we need inspiration. It’s not every time that one wakes up with so much creativity, most time we need a nudge to move us along and that’s why we at madivas love to gather the best aso ebi styles for your viewing pleasure.

This week is a bang and believe me when I tell you these aso ebi styles are too awesome not to see, check them out in the comment section below;
