Staying in a relationship with a person who can never treat you the way a loving partner does, who doesn’t include you in their life like you do, and who simply doesn’t even care about you, can feel like a sweet little lie. All the people around you believe that you’re happy just because you’re in a relationship. But deep down inside, you are well aware that something just isn’t right. Deep down inside, you know that it would be better if you were alone and single. Stop ignoring this feeling. Don’t make the mistake of ignoring this voice in your head that’s constantly reminding you that you deserve someone better. Because the voice is right. You really do deserve someone better. You deserve a person who will love you for who you are, a person who can treat you with respect, and a person who will be there when you feel down. You deserve to have fulfilling relationship, one that makes you smile, and not cry.
You might feel scared of being alone. I get that. I had the same feelings when I decided to finally let go of a person who never deserved me. The one thing you need to do in a situation like this is to stop focusing on these fears. Instead, start focusing on all the wonderful possibilities that come with staying alone.
There are a number of reasons why staying alone is much better than staying with someone who doesn’t deserve you. Here are a few of them:
1. Someone who doesn’t deserve you will end up draining all your energy
A supportive and healthy relationship is one of the most amazing things that can happen to a person. Knowing that your significant other will always love and support you will give you positive energy all day long. However, if you are in a relationship with a person who doesn’t deserve you and treats you badly, your energy levels will badly suffer.
Unfulfilling and unhappy relationships can feel like a stubborn cold, one that is impossibly hard to get rid of. You keep fighting it for a week. And when it finally starts to get better, you end up suffering from a relapse. The same happens in a toxic relationship with someone who doesn’t deserve you.
Each time you feel like it’s getting better, it starts to drain your energy even more. The time has come to get out, to let positive energy in, and to start living an emotionally healthy life. And the only way you can do this is by getting rid of the people who bring negative energy to your life.
2. Positive Energy will lead to a Positive Life
And why exactly is it so important for you to get rid of a person who drains your energy? This is because negative energy can lead to a negative life and vice versa. When you start spending more of your time around people who have a negative impact on your energy and mood, you start attracting more negativity in all aspects of your life. In this case, the law of attraction starts working against you.
There is a reason why most successful people constantly emphasize on the importance of being surrounded with positive people and getting rid of all the negative ones.
Just take out a minute to think about how much more outgoing, creative, and determined to achieve great things in life you would always be, only if you started spending more time with a person who truly loves and inspires you.
And this person might be someone else, or it might even be you! Yes, you can start being the source of your own positive energy. Loving yourself fully is vital when you’re on the path to personal fulfilment.
3. You will start regretting every second you’ve wasted on them
Sooner or later, you will end up regretting the time you spend on someone who doesn’t even deserve you. You will regret every hour, every minute, and every second you spent trying to change them or trying to see the good in them. You will think about all the things you could have done instead, things that could have actually improved you and your life.
Don’t set yourself up for a life full of regrets. Life is too short for that. Live your life the way you want to, but not with a person who doesn’t deserve you. Start living your life alone. Find your inner peace. Discover the things you truly want to achieve in life. And along the way, you just might end up attracting someone who truly loves you the way you are.
4. Staying alone will give you the Time to Find out What You Truly Want
One of the most significant reasons behind why you should be living alone rather than being with someone who doesn’t deserve you is directly linked with your decision to be with this particular person in the first place. Do you feel confused? Let me explain.
You are currently in a relationship with this negative person because this is what you chose to do. You made a conscious decision to start spending your time with this person. And now that you have finally realized that this wasn’t exactly the best decision of your life, it’s time to ensure that never make this same mistake again.
And how exactly will you ensure that your next choice for a partner will be wiser? By staying alone and thinking about what you actually want in life. Start spending as much time alone as you possible can. And reflect about what qualities a person who deserves you should have
5. Your Self-Esteem is waiting for you to Be Alone
If you hope to eventually attract someone who deserves you in their life, you need to have self-esteem. You need self-esteem to go out. You need it to interact with the right people. And you need it if you ever want a positive person to be attracted to you. And the only way to improve your self-esteem in a situation like yours is to start being alone.
I am extremely serious about this. Someone who doesn’t deserve you will end up doing anything in their power, consciously or subconsciously, to keep lowering your self-esteem. Never allow this to happen. Stay strong enough to end things and to start spending time on your own, until you feel confident enough to attract a person who truly deserves you.
6. You deserve a person who deserves you
Yes, it’s true! You are an amazing human being. And you deserve to be with a person who can recognize and appreciate you for who you are, a person who can give you the kind of guidance, support, love and care that you always desired.
Settling down is a beautiful thing, but only when the person you settle down with actually deserves you. So never settle for the person who doesn’t care, for the person who doesn’t see how extra-ordinary you are, or a person who wants to change you into something you’re not.
It doesn’t matter how much time you need to spend on your own and find your true calling. You will eventually find someone who deserves you. I found him exactly two years ago and yours might be just around the corner as well.
