Hey Lovelies

When it comes to weddings there is an innate inability to say “NO” especially when they are close friends or family and so you find yourself shopping for something to wear especially when the wedding invitation has a formal dress code.

Although we love shopping and most of us are on the verge of an addiction (note to self- avoid shopping addiction), the job of going through numerouse store’s both online or off-line looking for the right piece of wedding guest attire is such hard work.

As madivas editors, its our duty to bring you the best of the best when it comes to fashion, beauty, heck-the whole lifestyle package and so it simply means that we would be keeping watch over the latest trends, change in market and affordable pieces. We like to call this reserach cause we are doing the job for you… anyways while we were doing one of our “research” we came across a new style trend for wedding guest whose dress code is formal.

A few years ago, slip dresses were the in-thing for formal wedding ceremonies, aside’s from this a not-so-deep neckline made from satin or chiffon was a very reasonable choice. Things has however taken a different turn as bolder hues, thick stretchy fabric, big floral trimmings, exaggerated ruffles, frills and the whole “loud” pieces are the go to choice right now. Although there are still simple styles for the minimalist people, mostly this days everything is bigger, bolder and brighter.

From our “research” we found some wedding guest style favorites and we’ve decided to bring them to you as a suggestion for your next wedding party. Check out these fresh new wedding guest style ideas below:
