Hello World

Marriage is for better for worse but when some terrible situations arise, one would think of opting out. Marriage is an institution that one never graduates from but at times when some instances like beating occurs one would have no option than to think twice. It’s rare to see a couple that doesn’t run into a few bumps in the road. If you recognize ahead of time, though, what those relationship problems might be, you’ll have a much better chance of getting past them. Even though every relationship has its ups and downs, successful couples have learned how to manage the bumps and keep their love life going, They hang in there, tackle problems, and learn how to work through the complex issues of everyday life. Many do this by reading inspirational books and articles, attending seminars, going to counseling, observing other successful couples, or simply using trial and error.

Dear Amaka,

Av been sorrowful for long now, trying to be strong so my marriage can stand.. But right now I don’t care what happens. My marriage clocked 2yrs on d 7 of this month.. We have a 9mnths son and am pregnant again (Pls don’t ask me y) I got married to the first and last man in my life (I wish I didn’t) though I loved him then.. I don’t know if what he has for me is called love. He’s a cheat and perfect liar or so he thinks cuz I always knew when he’s lying.  All the girls and ladies he’s sleeping with, I know them all… Including his ex girlfriend whom he claims he doesn’t fancy anymore. He’ve broken every promises he made to me not to talk of our marriage vows on the alter of God. He’s a type that doesn’t work on the advises I always give him and lies whenever I confronted him with his cheating habits. How can I effectively protect myself cuz we stay in dsame room I have tried to deny him $3x(but it’ll last for just a few days).. He’ll cry and claim to be remorseful but will go back to his habits days later. I tried to ignore him with his cheating life but it’s not working either cuz I don’t know how. Now all I want to do is reporting him to one of his uncles whom he respects… And his grandpa. Can’t talk of reporting to his dad cuz they are desame… Even though he claims to hate what he’s dad is doing but does d same. In fact his dad has children outside after the death of his wife (my MIL). Advice me on what to do cuz I really feel like taking a revenge on him or leaving him and taking my son with me.

Dear Worried Wife,

I quite understand your plight and I would advise that you take things calm with him and be hopeful that he would change for good one day. If possible organize meetings with people you know that he truly respects. In winning your man back firstly you need to step up your game as a wife that is be neat, dress $3xy for him and always cook good meals for him. You need to note that cheating is an habit and he needs to unlearn it, try to know the kind of friends he mingles with. Communicate your grievances to him and let him open up to you as well. Remember that he really needs your attention, no matter what he is still your hubby. In all I wish you luck.
