Contouring and highlighting are two very vital parts of makeup. If one of these processes is badly done, then makeup would be distorted, as it would be so obvious a mistake was done.
We have learnt a lot about contouring and highlighting, all thanks to most of our darling makeup artistes who take the pains of putting up makeup tutorial videos on YouTube, selling themselves and equally helping us out with so many problematic areas. We initially thought that only Kim Kardashian, the queen of makeup, had the key to all these, but thank God for social media which has made things a lot easier for us all. There are so many makeup tips we have.
Since everyone cannot be perfect, there are still common mistakes being made, but these common highlighting and contouring mistakes can be corrected being abreast of the rules surrounding them.
This video by Nyma Tang showcases some of the do’s and don’ts of highlighting and contouring for dark skin tone. If you watch, you might discover some of the things you have been guilty of during your makeup application.
