ALEX YET TO END HER CRYING SESSION OVER LEO’S EVICTION
Leo leaving the House has left Alex completely undone. She is struggling to accept his absence. Will she land back on her feet?
Alex has been one of the liveliest Housemate in the Double Wahala House, bringing her youthful, joyful and playful self to the game. Her childlike personality has allowed her to always stay true to herself, and never find herself in situations she couldn’t stomach. It is true that Alex can cry for Africa, but when she laughs, the world laughs with her.
Alex was the young, ‘feisty girl in the House’, and it is only Leo who has tamed her confrontational nature. They have locked lips several times, slept in the same bed and were practically glued to each other whilst in the House. Bringing out a softer side in Alex. His Eviction last night has left her in shambles, crying way into the night and at siddferent points this morning. There is much more to Alex than what meets the eye. With Leo gone, will she be able to rise from the ashes and find herself, and play the game she came to play?
IT’S A GAME OVER FOR LIFU (LEO AND IFU ENNADA)
Ifu Ennada and Leo have come to the end of their Big Brother Naija journey.
Lifu (Leo and Ifu Ennada) have had quite an interesting journey in the Big Brother House. From being paired almost by default to winning the Pepsi Roc Da Mat Challenge and dodging the Eviction axe last week, their stay has been a battle and a half.
Unattached and Untainted Ifu Ennada
On her personal capacity, Ifu Ennada has been a calabash of mysteriously mixed and ever flowing cocktails. Besides having shown some emotion during her Diary sessions and the kissing episode courtesy of her and Bitto, there have never been instances where she over-displayed her vulnerability. We aren’t certain whether her strong and never broken demeanor was all a front but, Ifu Ennada’s name can easily be used to as an adjective to describe a person not easily broken.
At Leo’s Pace
Leo on the other hand either gave too little or just enough. His stay in the House has been somewhat philosophical, ‘in peace I live and in peace I let live’. This lead to him being almost invisible and only ever taking centre stage when talking strategy, business, or when putting off Alex sourced fires. Talking about Alex, his last weeks in the House were almost completely cantered around her and as were hers. He also let loose and confessed his ‘like’ for her during last week’s live show, possibly pressured by the fact that she was the first to bare her heart.
It’s Lifu, Default or Not
The Lifu pair came unexpectedly but both constituents gave an absolute maximum to make it work. Their collaborative efforts made it possible for them to bag the Pepsi mega price despite all the world war three worthy controversy. They were also part of Team Blue, the bunch that managed to knit their brains together and come up with a concept that was convincing enough to win them the Heritage Bank Task. Their graceful display of maturity and strategic intelligence has seen them this far into the competition. A well-deserved kudos to them.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM HOUSEMATES ‘GAME OF HEART’
Even after bidding farewell to their own, the Housemates don’t seem invested in their games.
As per usual, the Housemates gathered in the lounge, awaiting the Live Show and fully aware of the fact that they would have to say goodbye to two of their own; or so it seemed because it looks like some Housemates still don’t get the fact that this is a game and there’s bound to be Evictions.
During the Live Show, Ebuka asked the Housemates, particularly the romantically involved about how they felt and what their priorities were. Teddy A’s response was a slight beating around the bush but he made it quite clear in not so many words that his and Bambam’s was an ‘in-house thing’ and therefore couldn’t predict what would happen outside. Bambam’s silent reaction gave her away a little bit. It seemed as though she was disappointed by his bluntness and wanted more out of their ‘situationship’. Nina on the other hand labelled Miracle as ‘one’ of her priorities and made it clear that she still had her eye on the prize, ‘still’. Alex, was hysterical about Leo’s exit; more than the Evictee himself. Besides the fact that he had been open and honest about their ‘friendship’, Alex still felt that he understood her the most and therefore deserved to take centre stage, while completely throwing off her game.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM DJ JIMMY JATT ALL WHITE PARTY TREAT
Housemates were treated to an exceptional all-white party where the legendary Nigerian veteran DJ Jimmy Jatt played his music.
Saturday night parties have always been the peak of the week, as the mood in the House is of glamour and playfulness. The dance floor has by far been one of the preferred area for Housemates as it’s where they get to let some steam off, enjoy a few glasses and break a good sweat to the sound of the latest hits. Tonight Biggie upped the stakes by hosting an all-white party that pioneer Nigerian hip-hop DJ Jimmy Jatt spiced up. Highly recognized and revered for pushing hip-hop in Nigeria, DJ Jimmy Jatt blasted his mixtape to Housemates greatest enjoyment.
No one could follow Alex and her impressive legwork, Rico tried and after a few steps slid away. Together with Tobi, they led the party where extremely provocative and suggestive moves had taken over. As much as the dancefloor has been a leisure area, with all the grinding and hip-shaking that took place, there were too many wandering hands that ended up on every private body parts. Clearly, as Lolu has shown, it has become increasingly difficult for some Housemates to keep the tension bottled-up. How much longer until the genie is let out of the bottle?
