If your false lashes keep refusing to work for you even though you spend hours in front of your mirror trying to apply them only to end up looking like the original Spider Woman? Then what’s even worst is that they end up falling off midday and not only do they fall off, but this usually happens at the most inconvenient time such as when you are about to hang out with friends and maybe sight some cute guy in the restaurant and just as you give a soft blink as a sign of your approval, your false lashes start misbehaving, trying to fall off… Well, enough of the embarrassment. Be determined not to make a fool of yourself anymore.
Here are the fourteen commandments to follow prior to false lash application;
1. BE HASTY:
This takes time! The reward will be well worth the effort if you take the time to apply lashes the right way.
Wait to place lashes onto your lash line until the glue has firmed up a bit. This will prevent them from sliding around and will save you some frustration.
3. GO FOR SHORT LASHES:
Forget lashes that are too long for your eyes. You don’t want them attacking your eyebrows!
4. REMOVE WITH HANDS:
Don’t yank them off, instead, use eye makeup remover, and gently separate the false lashes from the real ones.
5. LEAVE THEM LONGER:
Don’t leave them on for longer than a day. Ideally, remove the false lashes before you go to sleep the same day you apply them.
6. BRUSH REAL LASHES:
Brush your real lashes first, before curling them. This will help to increase the volume of your lashes, both real and false, and make the whole lash application process easier as well.
7. MEASURE THE LENGTH:
Measure the length of your fake lashes before applying, and adjust accordingly with scissors.
8. QUALITY GLUE:
Use a good quality glue. Research the brands before you buy them.
9. APPLY MASCARA:
Apply mascara and eye-shadow to even out your look.
False lash application would be easier if you know these commandments prior to doing that!
